This website homepage design incorporated the following usability guidelines for a much easier user experience:

Match between system and the real world. These designs used many icons which directly relates to real world objects and established metaphors in order to help users understand what tasks were required.

Focus of consistency and standards. Hyperlinks and Buttons were properly coloured to prevent distinguish from paragraph and non-functional text. The designs also followed a set html colour palette (blue, green and orange) from the company's branding guidelines.

Focus of flexibility and efficiency of use. All designs included an identifiable support and search buttons which allows visitors to get direct assistance when retrieving for information.

Testing involved A/B testing of the above versions and usability test using one focus group in order to determine which design would be used to continue the project. Unfortunately, this project was cut from further development.
